  • 14.1 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 little smokies sausages
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Everything bagel seasoning optional
  • Poppy seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  3. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 2 smaller triangles.
  4. Place a little smokie at the wide end of each triangle and roll up to the point.
  5. Place the pigs in a blanket on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning or poppy seeds, if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter flavor, brush with a little honey before baking.
