Ingredients
  

Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated at joints
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup hot sauce (e.g., Frank's RedHot)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for sweetness) optional
Serving Board
  • Variety of dips (e.g., ranch, blue cheese)
  • Vegetable sticks (e.g., celery, carrots)
  • Optional: Crumbled blue cheese or other toppings optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy.
  5. While wings are baking, prepare the hot sauce. In a bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and honey (if using).
  6. Once wings are cooked, toss them in the hot sauce mixture until evenly coated.
  7. Arrange wings on a serving board or platter.
  8. Place dips and vegetable sticks around the wings.
  9. Sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese or other toppings, if desired.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, pat them dry with paper towels before tossing with oil and spices.
