Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 unit onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Optional
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (optional)

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients except the biscuits to the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  2. Remove and shred the cooked chicken, then return it to the soup.
  3. Mix heavy cream and flour, stir into the soup, and cook for 30 minutes on high.
  4. If using, bake the biscuit dough and serve on the side or crumbled on top.
  5. Ladle into bowls and enjoy your cozy dinner!
